Marine Studies
Marine environmental studies carried out by Ecoserv include surveys of biological, chemical and physical features of the seabed and water column, which are made using state-of-the-art techniques and equipment, while the company's scientific consultants are some of the most experienced and qualified in the Maltese Islands.
Terrestrial Studies
Ecoserv carries out studies of the terrestrial environment, including surveys of species and habitats, including ones found in protected areas and sites of high ecological importance. Such studies contribute to environmental conservation on land and provide the necessary information for effective management and sustainable use. This is also important given the various EU laws concerning the terrestrial environment.
Air Quality Studies
Increased awareness of the importance of reducing atmospheric pollution for human health and the environment has led to the need for more detailed and efficient assessment and monitoring of air quality. Ecoserv has its own state-of-the-art air monitoring equipment, including apparatus that assesses air quality in real time, and also provides elaborate modelling for predicting and assessing emissions. Assessment and monitoring of both indoor and outdoor air quality are made.
Laboratory Analysis
Ecoserv provides comprehensive laboratory and in situ analyses for a very wide range of chemicals and physical parameters, as well as carrying out microbiological studies and tests. The tested matrices include water, sediments, soil and waste, amongst others.
