Environmental monitoring in connection with scuttling of wrecks for use as a diving attraction

Ecoserv Ltd has been commissioned by various organisations, including Malta Shipyards, the Malta Marine Foundation, the Malta Toursim Authority, The Professional Diving Schools Association, and Adi Associates Environmental Consultants Ltd, to carry out underwater environmental surveys of a number of vessels that have been scuttled for use as diving attractions. The surveys include assessment of growth (epiflora and epifauna) and fish fauna associated with the wrecks, assessment of the physical stability of scuttled vessels, and diver risk assessments.
