Database Compilations and Questionnaire Surveys

The need for public authorities to update their databases and carry out questionnaires to obtain specific data is a challenging requirement. The diverse and extensive experience held by Ecoserv Ltd's staff enables the company to carry out rigorous questionnaire surveys, analyse the data collected and provide an appraisal of findings according to client requirements. Ecoserv Ltd has contributed to the compilation of several databases, mainly in relation to protected species of flora and fauna in the Maltese Islands.

Compilation of information on the marine biotic environment within Maltese territorial waters; prepared for the Malta Centre for Fisheries Sciences (MCFS) in connection with the National Data and Information Aggregation Scheme (NDIAS).
Database of locally threatened and/or endemic species (vertebrates, fish, invertebrates), commissioned by the Malta Environment and Planning Authority.
Questionnaires for SCUBA divers, dive schools and dive clubs undertaken for the University of Malta in connection with the EU funded FP7 project 'EMPAFISH'.
